Alone

I want to leave from here
No mortal breath understands my being
God stands alone when he has faith in me
My soul cries and thirsts for peace
Only death is there waiting for me

Refuge from the flames is what I seek
Once he called my name
Then I realized the everlasting mortal is
The one who kills the white flowers in
his sleep

I run from them to let the spirit be free
Nothing on earth will I allow to capture me
They do not know the truth beneath all
their lies

My mind is my own
My body belongs to the soil and
What is most dear- my soul belongs
To God
That will be; no life from me in this
eternity
